Reflective Journal 3: Life On Land
Nowadays, animals and trees are in endanger as the world is being developed and getting advanced. The human becomes ruckus to destroy the wildlife and its habitats. Every year, 13 million hectares of forest were lost, the continued deforestation of drylands has resulted in the desertification of 3.6 billion hectares, impacting poor communities overwhelmingly. Biodiversity is still in jeopardy, even though 15% of the land is covered. Almost 7,000 animal and plant species have been illegally traded. Wildlife trafficking not only depletes biodiversity, but also causes poverty, fuels violence, and encourages corruption. It is so heartbreaking to see that happen right before our eyes. A lot of wildlife comes extinct after human not only destroy the habitat but also kill them. Destroying habitat and animal equal to endanger of our lives too.
